Im just imagining myself at the stadium and who is going to get me pumped up the most.. it's not question. Chris Martin. All of the other voices are either too creepy, too unprofessional, or too weak.

I actually agree that he doesn't have the best voice, but I think he has the best combination of voice, energy, and delivery. I can't remember who it was, but the guy I thought had the best voice was one of the worst of the finalists in terms of his energy and delivery, I thought.

By Mike Fisher -- DB.com

The Mavs are down to the wire on who is going to make the team. No, not which player is going to make it. Which PA announcer is going to make it.

The Dallas Mavericks have narrowed the list of candidates to become the team's next public address announcer from ten to two. Following in-game try-outs and ten days of online voting, the two finalists are Sean Heath and Michael Taylor.

Both finalists will be given one last opportunity to try-out during the Mavericks' first two regular season home games on Tuesday, Oct. 27 vs. Washington (Taylor) and Tuesday, Nov. 3 vs. Utah (Heath). During the final in-game auditions, Mavs fans are encouraged to provide feedback on each candidate via e-mail (PA@dallasmavs.com) and Twitter.

Additionally, from now until Nov. 3, both finalists will be featured on mavs.com, where Mavs fans can view each candidate's original audition video and vote on their favorite. A final decision will be made on Wednesday, Nov. 4, following the two in-game auditions and the conclusion of the online voting.

Still behind Michael Taylor, and I called it.

Yeah, I like Michael Taylor of two. The Sean guy sounds like he is trying too hard.

The PA man does nothing but annoy me for the most part. The game usually gets me fired up..not the PA man. The PA man usually just sucks the life right out of me.

100% agree...

I'm soooo ready for the season to start - it's pretty pathetic when this is the most active thread in a Mavs forum...

This does seem like a really long preseason. Eight more days......

(daydreams of Marion destroying the Wizards)
