There's a article about the Mavs' win against Phoenix last night on sport1.de, and now I know how much the author Guido Finke cares about the correctness of his words. Here are 2 little excerpts:
"Neben Nowitzki, der 34 Punkte erzielte, waren Antawn Jamison (22 Punkte), Michael Finley (20) und Steve Nash (14)" - Well, Nash didn't have 14 points... he had 14 assists and 9 points "Als Center fungierten bei Dallas erneut abwechselnd Shawn Bradley, Danny Fortson und Scott Williams. Für Nelson offenbar das Geheimnnis des Erfolges: 'Mit dieser Achse sind wir variantenreich und sind nur schwer auszurechnen.' " - He says Bradley, Fortson and Williams AGAIN switched to center, but hey they played a combined 2 minutes (only Williams) and scored 1 turnover! I don't know where he found that comment from Nelson, but I don't think Nelson said, that the Mavs are hard to play with those 3 playing.... Poor coverage Mr. Finke, please write about something like soccer or tennis, but don't write that kind of stuff... |

I think Antoine Walker is a "Punkte"... [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img] (I know it really means 'points' but it looks funny)

You get the idea why that is tha last place of all where i look for game coverages...
It's sad that this is from one of the most visited sports-pages in germany. I guess little Guido skipped too much english lessons at school?

to give the site some credit, sport1.de probably does a better job covering the NBA than ESPN.com does covering the German Fussball Bundesliga or africasportsnews.com does covering the Iditarod sled dog race in Alaska [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]
