Dirk Nowitzki has just joined Germany's national team and will play the Four-Nations-Cup at Braunschweig from 3rd to 5th august, against Juguslavia, Latvia and France. 3 of Europe's top teams.
They will also have a game at Dirk's homecity Wuerzburg, which I'm probably going to see, on the 11th of August. Germany lost their last test game against Yugoslavia last week 59:69 - Eurpean-like-score [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]! Of course without Dirk, who was still on vacation. Not sure what you're trying to poll, but I'm all for Dirk and Steve playing for thier national teams. They are probably the best player from thier respective countries.
By the way nice website, I'm working on my german so I'll probably be able to read it all soon. But right now I'll just go straight to the Bilder.

Germany just lost their first game of the Four NationsCup withoutout Dirk, who will join the team in 10 days. The infos I had first were probably wrong that he already is with the team, sorry!

Which OS are you running it with? Win95? Win98 should be awfully slow on such a machine. And yes you must experience some serious performance probs with java applets. |

I'm using P-3 450MHz with 256 memory, but it's not that faster than P-1 100MHz ...
I'm considering to buy Athlon(Thunderbird) 1.4GHz with 256 DDR, but I don't think that'll be fast enuff ...

But I do recommend AMD 1.4GHz and a M/B with DDR memory.
Intel will release Pentium 4 2GHz next Spring ... so AMD will cut down the price. but don't buy RDRam, Rambus ram is supposed to be faster than DDR memory theoretically, but actually not so fast, and besides Rambus Co. has a bad reputation these days. so lots of semiconductor manufacturers don't like the company. and Rumor has it that Intel will give up RambusDram ... and I recommend MSD M/B, it goes well with AMD and overclocking ... I think I heard that MSD is a Germany-based company ...

Benchmarking also showed that Thunderbird(AMD)1.4G performed better than P4 1.7G ...

Yup the P4 blows..once it hits 2.0+ GHz then maybe it'll start performing up to its potential (its architecture allows for significant performance gains as the speed increases). Right now, however, it's just an expensive paperweight (whose only strength is in Q3) compared to the T-Birds. My desktop config is currently an AMD 1.33GHz (was o/c'ed to almost 1.5 but I scaled it back to accomodate a near-silent cooling setup) with 512MB PC2100-DDR on an ASUS A7M266 (with dual lcd's - heheh). I'll upgrade once the high-speed Palominos come out.

I've been using this ASUS M/B, they say it's stable, the hell they are ... Just try MSD Board, man, I think it's not only cheaper than ASUS also performs well [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]...
