But that's just it, we have Hardy and Bingham to develop.
Dragic and McGee are almost perfect stopgaps for those two.

Now I would have preferred McGee on a 1 or 2 year deal, but he'll be a tradable expiring in 2 years and hopefully Bingham will have already moved ahead of him in the rotation by then.

I'd prefer Dragic on a 1 year min deal only and hoping Kidd will give Hardy a good look in the rotation this season.

Mavs should be looking for a Powel/Green for a rotation caliber wing type of deal right now imo.

With all due respect to those guys....I'm not expecting those guys to be anything more than coaches decision players if they are on the active roster. I'd love for them to develop though. But the guys I had in mind were veteran young guys....like a Divincinzo. Someone who's been apart of rotations before.

Dragic I understand but you really think McGee won't be an important part of the rotation? He's far from done. I expect him to get all of Powell's minutes.

And for whatever it's worth, Dragic has looked great for Slovenia so far this summer. Unless we made a move for another ball handler, I expect Dragic to get serious minutes.

Oh I expect McGee to get 15 to 20 minutes a night. I feel like he's still the player he's always is and will be. I would've liked Jaylen Smith for his ceiling and his youth. But they went in a different direction. I get it. Not upset about the McGee move.

Dragic is what he is. I dont' expect much. I think he can still contribute. I Think if either guy gets over 20 minutes a night we have a issue.
