Say whatever you want about preseason, but this team is still learning to play together. Having Houston b2b along with Indiana, there will be some chemistry struggles at the beginning.

It's so frustrating that early this preseason we were playing teams using their starters and full set or near full while we played the deep deep bench early in the 3rd. Watching this team, it's pretty clear they need more time on the court together.

I think they blocked it out because of the violent nature of what is the murder of the dallas mavericks starters.

The reserves played even less than a normal nba game. Carlisle Thibsed the starters and they still fell flat.

I agree that it was annoying, but for with it's worth, I've lived in cities where I got local broadcasts of the Wolves, Bucks, Hawks and Bulls, and the Mavs team blows them all out of the water.

Awful seeing a team get outplayed for the entirety of 48. Not a single minute where we were the aggressors and I'm not sure I saw a single lineup that I really liked. Hoping we actually see youngsters this year.

One observation from the few games I've watched is the lack of energy and enthusiasm in our starting core. I know it's only preseason but damn we look slow.
Seems very little ball movement and most shots looked like bad shots (heavily contested).

Do we have the slowest and most unathletic starting roster in the league?
Wouldn't surprise me if JJ becomes a starter early into the season to inject some energy into the starting lineup. He looked really good in that role the end of last season.
