Default Physical books or ebooks?

Curious how far the ebook trend has taken over with the ipad, kindle, etc.

I personally still prefer physical books but am getting intrigued.

I like the feel of the paper and it's easier on the eyes. But more so, I like to get used books so I like the hunt inside messy independent shops and used bookstores. As for the used book itself, I enjoy the feel of shared knowledge, the different looks of decades gone by and sometimes even the handwritten notes of previous owners.. however, I can't deny technology has its perks: saves paper, rating systems, humongous library, etc.

How do you guys lean? Have some people given up on physical books entirely?

Still rockin' the paper...

For all the same reasons as you, plus a paperback is a LOT smaller than an iPad or Kindle...

Cost being equal, everything is better digital. Everything.

But costs are not equal so I still do used books at times. But I do more audiobooks from audible.com than anything, so count me as digital, just not with an e-reader.

Paper...

At least as far as books go. However, digital when it comes to Newspapers and magazines.

I haven't tried it, but I imagine that digital books would only work me in short stretches. Kinda like browsing a website.

Give me a physical book. Half price books is my friend.

I sit in a room full of computers all day and use my smart phone all day... Electronics are great, but sometimes I need to unplug...completely. Thus real paper.
