Dirk had 404 post-up plays, scored 464 pts (1.15 AVG). Darko had 411 post-up plays, scored 270 pts (0.66). #dirkvsdarko

Great find. Just confirms what I always have to argue with knuckleheads. Dirk is an ELITE post-player. And some people still act like he doesn't have a post game.

IDK all about that. It's one thing to voluntarily leave money on the table and it's another to have it taken away from you. Dirk in his interviews believed that the lockout wouldn't last this long, especially since the league was on a upswing. He left money on the table with Dallas exchange for a better team because the endorsements would cover the loss. Now he is missing paychecks and endorsements aren't guaranteed, they are tied to performance and media coverage.

My figures turned out to be wrong, Dirk actually makes $1.5M every 2 weeks... I'm sure even Dirk wouldn't mind $3M a month.

Trying to find a video of that big dunk Dirk had vs the Suns where he got the ball at the top of the key, drove right and slammed it real hard one handed. It was a home game, I think it was around 2006 and the Mavs were wearing the green alternate unis, not really sure though. Can anyone help me?

Met Dirk in October (for the second time) during an autograph session in Konstanz and even got the chance to talk to him for a few minutes:

Best celebrity encounter of my life - i mean...i obviously knew that he is the most down to earth guy in all of sports, but goddammit, i never ever thought he would be so nice to the point that he would literally ask ME questions.

The bottom line is that i effing love this guy...let's just hope that he plays well into his mid forties.

PS:
I know it's not groundbreaking, new stuff - but hey...sharing a good story about Dirk can't be a bad thing.
