Kenny Satterfield has the edge over Kyle Hill right now in the race of making the Mavs team...if at all. It's only been 4 games in the summer league but here's how there stats break down.
Hill
12-41fg (29.2%) 3-22 3pt (13.6%) 4-5ft (80%) 31pts (7.7) 5rbs (1.2) 6as (1.5) 4to (1) 2blks (.5) 1stl (.25) 4pf (1)
Satterfield
20-34fg (58.8%) 17-20ft (85%) 53pts (13.2) 10rbs (2.5) 13as (3.2) 6to (1.5) 1blk (.25) 5stls (1.25) 9pf (2.2)

I agree 100%...if anyone makes the team, it'll probably be him. he seems like he might have something to prove from the late draft pick. A lot is going to be determined though if the mavs sign hardaway or not though.

hill is just horrible at the moment.
don´t want to name L.W. out of M., but i´d take him over hill aswell ...
Satterfield has a chance to get signed in my eyes, depending on the fa-situation ...

Neither make the team IMO. We'll add 2 free agents, leaving no room on the roster.

Actually Rob, wouldn't we have room? There's only 8 players right now with guranteed contracts:
Dirk
Nash
Harvey
Wang
Buckner
Howard
Najera
Eisley
11 guranteed once Finley, Bradley and Booth resign.
For arguments sake, let's add Hardaway and Richmond--that brings us to 13. Let's go further by saying that we do trade Trent for Patterson, that would still leave us 1 more spot. Yes, if one of the rookies are to make it, they ride the IL.
I think my maths right, but check it...

Doh, I was thinking we only have 13 roster spots . So if one were to make the team(IR), i'd say it would be Hill. With the new rules and all, good shooters are a plus. Hill's the better shooter from what I understand. But those statistics despute that. So I don't know what the hells gonna happen .

It's ok Rob, I don't know what the hell is going to happen either. Both picks are a long shot, especially if Cuban and Nelson have some deal in the works. If not and plan to just add through free agency, they have a shot.
Im just too damn happy about Fin resigning...

The Mavs >MIGHT< get a roster exemption for Wang to start the season so there's a small chance that both of them could make the roster to start the season.
