I thought Mejri was good and has been good.
Also, we have no idea what he opened off the court. Rick doesn't like guys who don't hustle or don't take things seriously. Perhaps Mejri out hustled in practice and performed better off court. Also, Rick seems to be in love with Powell's ability to score when we are down guys. McGee really can't create or provide much for the offense. He doesn't screen particularly well like Zaza and he can't shoot/drive like Powell.
If it were up to me, Powell would never play any C minutes unless we were trying to go small. I'd also play whichever of the two backup centers was playing harder, which is what Rick is doing.
