dallas gets within 4 when dirk comes out hot in the third.. but he hasn't had a shot sense.
amazing
they deserve to lose because of the poor shot selection

Murphy when you are talking about players being horrible and Evans turnover, why not mention DIrk had 3 in the quarter? Just curious that you rag everyone but Dirk which isn't fair. Especially to EE who gives his all every time he's on the floor.

i did mention how dirk has 3 blocks and why doesn't he do that more often...did you fail to see that..or do you just want to find something about me to gripe about.
i think it's that latter...
quite simply, dirk's the only player that has done much to keep this game respectable

Dirk is having a monster game on the boards. 18 so far with about 2:00 left in the third.

i'm sorry..but if you want to skip something that i point out..to simply bring up something else..well, it looks like you're selectively going through the posts to find something to gripe about towards me.
meanwhile, fin is getting hot..the mavs need this

Joe Joe... he's the total package, eh?
30 points, 19 rebounds, 4 assists... and a qaurter to go.
Btw, the last two games he has had 9 assists. It shows that if Dirk gets opportunities he **can** pass the ball very well.

Who knocked Fin upside the head?
He seemed to turn it on quickly.

Make it 4 assists away from a triple double.

Fin and Dirk have missed a couple shots each now, but why in the world is Wang taking so many shots?
And...hello?? Where is Nash?

Dirk's been consistant all game. 30pts, 21rbs
Fin stepped up in the 3rd and has kept going. 22pts, 10rbs
Najera, despite that fumble has been big, on rebounds especially.

dirk, fin and najera..they have been awesome...
dirk may get a triple double if the game goes to OT..however, they have the lead now..it would obviously be better if the mavs could pull this out in regulation...

Murph, has there been a recent game in which Fin and Dirk have played so well together? It's good to see, that's for sure.
Dirk, 33, 22 and 8
Fin, 24, 10 and 6
Nash has been quite, but that was a huge basket.
Wish Dirk could get the triple-double.

i like fin alot better without howard here.
to be honest, i think the mavs probably would have been a better team with howard this year..simply because when he gets the ball on offense, the team becomes stagnant..and howard doesn't play defense.
the offense looks better, to me, without howard

Dirk may have had the best night for a Maverick since Bradley's 22 point, 22 rebound, 13 block game.

What makes this win even sweeter is that Houston beat the T-Wolves.

Helluva game by the Big 3--that is how they need to play together.
Great game by Dirk, excellent to see Fin back to his All-Star level.
Nash had a slow night, but this is exactly what he needs to be--conductor for 3 quarters, and then The Dagger.
Are we sure nothing is going on trade-wise with Bradley and Griffin? Didn't make sense to have them on the IR tonight and end up playing short-handed. Something doesn't seem right.

The Mavs needed a game like this. Play hard defense and make the other team stop your stars. I guess Boston isn't even close to the Mavs yet.

The guys that got moved to the injured list was because of a league requirement. There must be open roster spots for all of players you trade for - you can't stash them on IR until they have shown up. We aquired 4 players, so we had to have 4 spots open.

This game makes up for the loss to Minnesota. Lose a game you're supposed to win? Then win a game you're supposed to lose.

The offense flowed so well. We had 20 assists. That is exacellent. Shows we had a lot of unselfishness.
And our defense was **awesome** in the second half. Boston only scored 32 points in the second half.

the offense got plenty of open looks in the second half..although they weren't necessarily hitting..in the first half, there seemed to be too much 1-1 basketball..led to alot of turnovers and bad shots

interesting thing about tonight...who is mister clutch?
fin who hit big shots down the stretch
dirk who hit big shots all night long..key three down the stretch and huge free throws
nash who hit a huge three and hit free throws
or
wang who hit a key three
amazing..this team has so many players that have absolutely no problem with putting up a shot at any time..
alot of players with ice running in their veins tonight

With only one pg on the court the stats seem like Dirk was Tim Hardaway, Shawn Bradley and Tim Duncan in one.
I would have loved to see him to have his first triple-double...
What a great game!

You cannot base it upon 2 games whether Dirk can make the right pass or not. Let's see it more consistently and then we will talk.
