Dirk looks like a rec league puece of trash who you believe can't play a lick but does **everything** for his team.

Bottom line...Stack's more likely to draw my ire because he's the type of guy that, on a game by game basis, is more likely to make poor decisions than just about anyone else on the team.

If you have a problem with that, so be it. But I could really care less.

Perhaps Dirk should keep the headband?

He's looking to swat everything near the hoop... and is holding his ground defensively well... and keeping his hands active for steals...

Dirk and Fin both threw passes to Hendu in the paint when they had better looks.

Dirk has scored 10 points but how many times have you ever said Dirk is "dominating this game without his scoring."?

He is absolutely everywhere.

Except for a couple of silly turnovers by Stack and one by Dirk, almost a perfect half. Josh looked good!

Damn Dirk just got two back to back turnovers. Why is he just standing with the ball? This is probably Dirk's best defensive effort i've ever seen him play.

Fortson would be perfect in this second half. There's a lot of fighting and pushing for rebounds that he's great at.

It's hard to grab boards that aren't there that's why they have so many offensive. They are missing so many shots.

..well, three excuses.

1. The Mavs are on fire so there's been fewer defensive rebounds to go around.
2. The Wizards have shot the ball poorly so more offensive rebounds to go around.
3. Nellie has gone much of the game without a center on the court.

But yeah, otherwise, I agree. The Mavs need someone to grab some boards other than Dirk and Hendu.

Fin has only 3 boards
Stack has 0.
Howard has only 2.
Damp and Bradley combined for only 4.
