we shot 38% for the game and still won.

hollins nd jho were great. Dirk draw a lot of attention and rebounded very well.

Kidd is a great veteran.

3-1 series lead.

I like our chances

i immediately retract everything i said about josh in the 2nd quarter. For all his boneheadedness hunting for shots against bowen in the first half, he was absolutely huge in the 3rd and 4th

What's funny is that he actually is letting the defense off the hook. When he looks to pass the Spurs are expecting it. I think he can drive all day if he wants. Not sure how much success but it would definately make the Spurs work and get them in foul trouble.

I'm surprised they didn't put Mason in at the end where they were shooting all those 3's. IMO he's there best 3 point shooter and incredibly clutch.

He was great...but Josh and Hollins really carried it in the second half. I give it to them because I really didn't expect anything from Hollins and then Josh was night and day between the first half and 2nd half.

i honestly cant believ im writing this right now, with us up 3-1. going into 3rd to last week of season, when we were kinda fallin off, i said well we playin the lakers, let's try to take at least one from them on our homecourt.

and altho our job isn't done, the way that we turned out momentum around the last 2 weeks of the season and into the playoffs is astounding. no matter what, we will not get credit from anyone ever. TNT hates us, and most others are nonchalant or blah about us. but they have shown me they deserve to be here, thru and thru.

WE FRIGGIN DID IT!!!! WE ACTUALLY UP 3 GAMES TO 1!!!!! I FEEL AMAZING SAYIN THAT!!! HERE IS SOME INCREDIBLE MOJO, AND THANK YOU MARY FOR A GREAT GDT!!! LOVE YOU ALL, GOD BLESS, AND GOODNIGHT...

decent game on defense in the last 3 quarters - not really a good offensive game because jet and dirk never got going. dirk was crushing the boards hard though and was playing decent D so I can live with it.
Parker - as expected - ran out of gas in the second half.
for the next game I hope we can work on our offense so it gets more consistent. 19 points in q 2 and q 4 is not enough against these spurs. Dirk seemed hesitant to shoot - I wonder if that thumb is bothering him more than he wants to admit.

How is it luck when one team puts it's foot up another team's a-s? I never understood the luck thing that these mavs haters peddle. Dallas has fought hard each game to get up 3-1 and no one cares about Manu being hurt. I recall Manu falling on Dirk's knee in the 03 wcf and no one cared that dirk was out after that game. The spurs are whining and I am sick of it. Dallas won and we are the better team. Barkley is a no ring having fat piece of trash. his opinion is irrelevant and he might want to concentrate on driving sober and not getting another DUI.

Kenny and Charles get paid to make statements like this and to be how they are on their show. I could care less about any of the 2. I avoid TNT for Mavs games at all costs if I can. If they are on, it's usually muted and I'll listen to music or something like that.

Anyways, about the game, I'm real glad they won but why in the world when the Mavs got in the bonus with like 8 minutes to play, the only drive to the basket maybe twice the rest of the game? I was screaming at them when the lead kept getting less and less to drive the damn ball and make them foul you. But they got in their jump shot mode and I was going crazy.

Spurs got some good looks on the other end for 3 but Finley is back to his old ways of being garbage with maybe 1 made shot in him a game.

This is pretty much what I said from the minute this series had a chance of happening. I think it'd still be Mavs > Spurs if you had Manu involved, but since he's not involved everyone has the "out" of saying "well...Manu wasn't playing, it's a tainted series win."

If this is tainted, then so is the Spurs 2003 title (Dirk out during WCF), their 2005 title (Joe Johnson out during WCF), and their 2007 title (Amare suspended ridiculously for critical Game 5).

But I'm sure we'll still hear all about how it's tainted, if we finish it off.
