In Chuck we trust!
As soon as the Mavs finish with the Hornets I'll be heading over to Justin TV to check out the Lakers/Kings and hoping by the end of the night we have the #2 seed.

Alright, there you go. I messed up the top but I'm tired of messing with it. Maybe I'll fix it tomorrow.

So everything is now locked except 2/3. Memphis is 7th and New Orleans is 8th.
Edit: Nope, nevermind. I tend to forget that Memphis is in our division, and thus in the same division as New Orleans. So New Orleans wins that tiebreaker, and Memphis is tanking well tonight.
So NO is going to be 7.
Getting the #2 seed and playing New Orleans in the first round would be the absolute dream scenario.

Yeah everything went down just as expected so far. Portland or New Orleans depending on the Kings.

We are locked into #3. I'm watching the Lakers/Kings game and the Kings are playing so bad at both ends of the court they might as well just forfeit.

Its anyway championship or nothing for the Mavs.

Looks to me like the Blazers are getting a hot team in the playoffs too.

Exactly. New Orleans will by far be the easiest draw. Meanwhile, Memphis is putting on an embarrassing display of tanking. I hope the Spurs obliterate them. Well, actually I hope they beat the Spurs but realistically...

It kind of sucks that the Lakers will get the easiest opponent in the first round and that we have to play them in the second then, but otherwise you can't complain. L.A. surely lucked out. Wasn't too sure that Memphis would be joining the SA bracket and they only could do it because the Hornets hold the tiebreaker (yeah ... wasn't that used to be an 'advantage' over another team?).
I think Denver and San Antonio is equally strong, just that the first round would have been a bit more complicated than the second. Now it's the other way round.

Kings have cut a 20 point deficit to 2. Two minutes left. Join us in the GDT over on the NBA subforum.

Instead of fouling Kobe with 9 secs to go they let him shoot a 3 and of course he makes it. NBA coaches are retards. Always foul Kobe instead if letting him tie the game.
Unbelievable. We had the 2 seed and basicly a first rd bye, but thats why sac is sac.
