Looking Ahead
Looking ahead through the end of January, the schedule is looking pretty favorable. I was mostly interested to see when we play San Antonio again. I am starting to believe the rivalry may be reignited and could possibly be headed for a WCF Texas showdown (haven't forgotten the Lakers). I would definitely make the drive to San Antonio to raise the Blue Flag! San Antonio has another win streak going which will make for a very interesting game when we meet on Dec 30th.
19 Games from now until the end of January
9 Away games
10 Home
5 National TV Games
3 or 4 Possible “L”s

Well let's not get too greedy right now. The schedule is very challenging until Jan 22nd. Spurs twice, Thunder twice, Lakers and Bulls in a tough B2B. Orlando should be better until we play them the next time and don't take a W in Memphis or Milwaukee for granted. So only 3 or 4 "L"s should be challenging.
Anyway: 21 out of 35 will come on the road after January. So it won't get easier.

The Mavs must be loaded with road games towards the end of the year.

San Antonio right now is answering any questions being asked. The last win streak they won against milwaukee, denver twice, atlanta, memphis...All mostly at home, they'll take to the road soon.
But they are not going away barring an injury to manu.

We owe the road 6 games by the end of the season but statistically we are better away than at home
Home 13-4 (71%)
road 10-1 (91%)

San Antonio must not have taken Orlando seriously. They evened up their home-away record by losing their second road game of the season. Can you imagine what our local trolls would say if the Mavs gave up 123?

The spurs are not the spurs of old. They are going to get blown out more than once this year. If the shots aren't falling and the other team plays solid transition defense, they are going to struggle.

Hey spursfag, the Mavs have yet to give up 104 in a game this year.

We have 6 more road games than home games coming up. When looking at the schedule this actually looks pretty challenging. Hard to follow say a 4 game road trip with only 2 or 3 games at home before heading back out on the road. The Mavs really have no big homestands over the second half of the season....Hmnnnn................

well considering so far we've had the 4th hardest schedule in the nba, i'm glad the 6 more road games come during the easier part of our schedule. we've played murderers row so far and still are 23-5
