Magloire is a fairly respectable center. That's surprising.

If their young players can amount to something, they might not be that bad off.

Why are the Bucks giving up on Magliore so soon? I guess they need more bench fodder and think Bogut is much better. I haven't watched him much but insn't Bogut just a rich man's Luke Longley.

well that stinks for any Mavs fan...
Magloire should help bring some toughness to that young team

I was already exciting because of the two rookies they got in the top 7 picks or whatever, but now I'm even more excited.
If we could get rid of miles and randolph this could possibly be the best off season ever.

Magloire should be happy about this though... from what I hear Aldridge will need to be developed and Magloire is in his contract year. He could put up some pretty good numbers in Portland and land himself a juicy contract.

sike.. he's trash because he never tries, even on the few games per year he actually plays.
and tokey don't you think aldridge will play the 4, not the 5? either way they have plenty of big men so I think he will be developed, but I think the blazers have one more move left in them.

I don't know that Bogut will ever be more than a star, but at worst I'd say he's a billionaire's Luke Longley. Not a dis on Longley either, but Bogut wasn't the first pick for nothing. Kid's got a pedigree.

Aldridge could play both the 4 behind Randolph or the 5 behind Magloire which is great for them, but I also forgot about the Raef aquisition so it is likely that he will be backing Zach. For the record I dont like Randolph either but maybe he just looks like a slacker after that micro surgery that slowed him down a step.

Maybe they are willing to throw away another season and have aldrige start with raef backing him up... get the kid lots of playing time early.

Terrible trade for the Bucks.
