yeah I read that. Its unfortunate. I got my demo code from a friend that went to the midnight release. I'm downloading it now and will try it this weekend. Looks really good-- I just havent played a game on the PC for 3-4 years since I stopped WoW.

Anyway starting June 14th, anyone can try the starter edition. The unfortunate bit is that Blizzard didn't get on top of it, particularly with so many people getting digital editions these days.

wow Diablo really screwing the pooch. 2 days and people can't even play the game they paid for with any consistency. At prime time the game crashes for hours without relief.

Their anti-cheating/piracy solution is pissing a lot of people off right now. Cant imagine another product that you'd buy and wouldnt be able to use for days after

It's not bad..about 30 hours in, getting a bit repetitive admittedly. Normal is such a cakewalk, it is kind of a deterrent to making a new toon because it's basically 8-10 hrs of walking around ;D

That said, with a group of friends it's stupidly fun and entertaining. (at least until Inferno, when it starts to become impossible)

The best part is: if I get bored with it I can just take a month break and come back and everything will still be there. No subs or any crap like that.

Hello, dead thread!

Assassin's Creed 3 comes out on Tuesday, which is terrible because I won't have time to play it for probably a month (Thanksgiving break!). AC and Uncharted are the only PS3 games I've owned that I've really been able to immerse myself in. Skyrim didn't even work for that.

EDIT: I couldn't even make it a day without playing the first two sequences. There are some control changes that are gonna take some getting used to.

Got Halo 4 for Christmas. The campaign has improved some, but it really is a game made for multiplayer. Very addictive that multiplayer is.

Since i've been traveling so much, I broke down and bought a 3DS. Only game I have so far is Ocarina of Time and the purchase is more than worth it.

OoT is the best game ever, IMO. I replayed it on Wii last year, and tried to follow that up with Majora's Mask and was struck at how little I was able to get into MM again because OoT was just so much better.

By "haven't played any of them," are you to say you've never played any Pokemon game... ever? EVER? I didn't know those people still existed.

Haha nooo I was in 4th grade when Blue/Red came out (so I was obviously obsessed) and I also played a lot of Gold/Silver and some plat... I just meant I haven't played the black or white ones.

I'm new to the 3ds though so I'm trying to buy some good solid titles. Picked up mario kart 7 and I'm blown away by it... Best one in the series IMO.

You should definitely get a 3ds (XL is the move). The 3d thing is a little gimmicky, but the hardware upgrades are where it's at. The graphics are waaay better and the joystick is so much better than the d pad.

For you Wii people who like Final Fantasy or JRPGs in general, check out a game called Xenoblade Chronicles. Highly recommend! Playstyle is similar to FF12 but much better AI.

In the end, I haven't really played my Wii all that much. Outside of Mario Kart with friends, there weren't really that many games that I got into. Not even Twilight Princess was I able to actually finish.

I won't get anything at launch, but I've always been a Sony guy so that's probably what I'll stick with when I do decide to upgrade. With Kingdom Hearts 3, though, I don't know how long I'll be able to stick it out.

I recently bought the Mass Effect Trilogy box-set for PS3 and am working through that.

Just demoed Rayman Legends at a game store in Denver. Game looks like its completely off the hook. Rayman Origins was my game of the year runner up in 2010 and Legends looks, feels and plays even better. I don't wanna wait for August 29th.

Just finished it today. I think I teared up 2 or 3 times during the course. First time I have ever gotten emotional over a video game. Great overall experience, should be GOTY.

I haven't had much time to play games, but when I do I always seem to go back to left 4 dead 2. By far my favorite zombie game and one of the best first person games ever made imo. And tons of these new zombie movies and shows steal from it.

I've been running back through GTA IV: The Lost and the Damned recently. I've beaten the storyline part of the game and am now doing the gang wars. Those can be really tough, depending what the arena is.
