He tried to get their best player traded before the season even started. What the hell was he thinking?
It does make you appreciate Carlisle.

Funny thing is that George Karl is probably the 5th or 6th person on the list who needed to be kicked out of Sacramento... The owners, GM, PG and C are easily bigger problems.

I think when you get a player like Cousins, the owner/GM need to put the right pieces around him, players and staff included. Yeah he's been a huge headache so far without the team success to show for it, but I think he's a top 5 player if the organization can get its shit together and put him in a good environment.
But yeah, Karl absolutely has to go. I think, if Cousins and Rondo really get along as well as it seems, they should keep them both and try to reload around them.

Rondo is a cancer who is going to destroy DeMarcus Cousins' career... In the last two weeks alone:
@BenGolliver: Kings' Rajon Rondo & DeMarcus Cousins get technical fouls for the simultaneous sarcastic clap at referee Marc Davis
@SeanCunningham: With 6.7 secs remaining DeMarcus Cousins picks up his 16th tech of he year. Rajon Rondo picks up 2 techs and is ejected.
@AminESPN: Lol Rondo Cousins and Collison didn't even make the trip, and coaching staff didn't know until team was on plane
The only thing in Sacramento worse than Rondo is the guy who signed him -- Vlade is easily the worst GM in the league (rival GMs say he doesn't even know how the cap works!)
The NBA should've moved that dumpster fire of a franchise to Seattle when they had a chance...

Lost in all of this is Cauley-Stein who is going to need a decent coach to develop him. You can't just waste high draft picks like that...especially when they're athletic defensive centers.
And yeah, Divac is totally clueless and doesn't look like someone opposing GMs would want to work with.

@espn_macmahon: Mark Cuban: "I'm a huge Kobe fan now that he's retiring."
@espn_macmahon: Mark Cuban says he thought he had a deal done that would have shipped Kobe to Dallas for Josh Howard and Jason Terry in 2007.

@ESPNSteinLine: Rockets make the playoffs ... but it means a first-round date with Golden State and their 2016 first-round pick is bound for Denver

As much as I wanted the Rockets to miss the playoffs I think them losing their 1st round pick and most likely getting swept by GS is probably the better scenario.

F'n Kobe is loving every second of this D sucking fest. I've enjoyed watching him over the years, but I'm glad his year is over. Tired of hearing about him. He should have retired years ago.

GSW is the team that doesn't foul. Harden is the new Wade.
Predictions? What happens when Iggy bear hugs Harden as he gets away with in other games?

@bobbykaralla: Kobe will almost certainly become the fifth 37-year-old (or older) ever to score 40 in a game, joining Dirk, MJ, KAJ, and K. Malone.
Copycat... Oh well, Dirk will just have to one-up him next year.
Also, 13-32 so far.

@BallinWithBryan: Steph Curry currently has 402 made 3s this season. The Milwaukee Bucks had 440 for the season.

What a great way for a future hall of famer in Kobe to retire. 60 points and hitting the game winner to end your career? WOW.Kobe was my Michael Jordan since I never got to see Jordan while he still played in the NBA. I will remember him for his clutch shots and taking over games. His never giving up mentality reminded me of Dirk. Plus Kobe respects Dirk which makes me like him even more. Sad day but soon it will be for the tall baller from the G

@MikeSGallagher: Stephen Curry’s final shot chart on the season. 66.9 TS% is so crazy. 402/886 from 3. Stupid midrange shots btw.
