They apparently are fielding calls. They want to dump Schroeder and/ or Bazemore, and like other players projected to go later in the draft. I don’t know what smoke would accomplish here.

They can want to do whatever they want, but it doesn't mean anything until it actually happens.

All rumors are smoke until something actually happens. And if you hear about it before it happens, then it generally doesn't.

I thought you were saying smoke as in misdirection. Of course a trade isn't real until it happens. Most trades discussed between teams don't happen, whether you hear about them or not.
