As far as this thread is developing "RIP Nichael Jackson" might carry connotations which can be misinterpreted.

Oh my godness. Hope pandoras box remains closed

You must spread some rep before giving it to nikeball

Yep, the 70's were indeed a cold time!!!

This has been a week in which some Icon Celebrities have moved on. As I hear from friends, these deaths actually have an impact on fans and detractors. Best of wishes to everyone effected by the recent last good-bye's...

Plus, Farrah Fawcett looked better in Playboy than Michael Jackson:

(like Superman & Clark Kent, nobody has seen Michael & Latoya Jackson pictured together!)

I can agree that he had issues because of his father. However, he had been an adult for a long time. At some point, you have to start working your way through some of those issues. Obviously, Michael Jackson had extreme difficulty doing so.

Personally, I was never a fan of his music or his dancing.. or anything about the man. Not at all. I can actually remember my school banning certain things during recess when I was younger such as moon walking, break dancing, parachute pants..etc. Honestly, I didn't know much more than he did the moonwalk when I was growing up. I guess I can vaguely remember a couple of his videos on MTV..but, he just wasn't my cup of tea.

Am I saddened by his death? Yes, I am. I'm always saddened when I see someone that's relatively young pass away due to heart issues or cancer.. or anything else. I suppose I just don't like to be reminded of my own mortality all the time.

I hope he has found peace. I also wish his family well. And I hope that all of the molestation charges were untrue. I'd hate for anyone to have to be molested.. I can only imagine the nightmares that it would cause. And let's be honest, having memories of someone that looks a bit like a ghost handling up on your 7 year old goods probably isn't something that anyone should have to go through.

would it be inappropriate here to ask whether it's true that Michael Jackson died from food poisoning...

....from eating ten year old weiners?

'cause if it would be inappropriate then I'm not going to ask.

man, i am definitely too young for the fawcett era, but i know that poster, and it's been around forever! But i actually didn't know this - she was only one charlie's angels for one year! and that catapulted her to stardom. and i can't remember anything else she did (besides playboy and that poster).
