Your mileage may vary on Bill Simmons, but since 2011 he has always touted Dirk's greatness. He ranked Dirk #17 all time. Incidentally he ranked Garnett at 23, which surprised me given that he's a mega Celtics homer. I've never heard him break down Dirk vs. KG but I would really like to hear his reasoning on it.

Simmons is a good old school sports reporter. Yes he's a Celtics homer, but hecwears his fandom proudly, rather than hide it. This shows he can be objective despite that...and his articles are usually good writing, not click bait. You think most sports talking heads could write even one good article? I don't.

Oh you don't have to convince me how good he is. I'm a huge fan. I listen to his podcast almost every day.
