Spurs Sign Bruce Bowen
SAN ANTONIO - The San Antonio Spurs Tuesday announced that they have signed forward Bruce Bowen. Per club policy, terms of the contract were not announced. The 6-7, 200-pound Bowen was named to the 2001 NBA All-Defensive Second Team. During the 2000-01 season he appeared in 82 games - with 72 starts - averaging 7.6 points, 3.0 rebounds, 1.6 assists and 1.01 steals in 32.7 minutes per game for the Miami Heat. He ranked second on the team in three-pointers made, hitting 103-of-307 (.336) from downtown. In his five-year NBA career the 30-year-old Bowen has appeared in 243 regular season games, averaging 5.1 points and 2.3 rebounds in 22.1 minutes per contest.

They still lost Derek Anderson!
And I would only have liked to have Bruce if we wouldn't have to give up Greg, just tell me what Bowen can do better than Buck. |

Nothing, if you ask me they are the same player except Buck is younger. So Buck is better in my eyes.

My seventy+ year-old grandmother is a better scorer than Bowen.
