I love the Drudge Report. At this point, he is basically running the democrats' opposition research unfiltered. The Edwards stuff will be fun to read all week. The obly question is who is putting it out there? Is it Kerry or Dean or Clark? Or is it Bush?
Good question. Initially, I thought there would be no way Bush would want Dean to get eliminated so early. He's obviously the easiest candidate to beat. But now I think it is in the best interest of the Bush campaign to have no cear Democratic frontrunner at all. Take the leader out, then let the cronies duke it out; ruining each others credibility, and emptying their bank accounts. Bush could then swoop in and pick at whatever carcass is still moving after Super Tuesday.

Dean's so dumb--he thought they said he needed to give a concession screech.

Dean Suspends Campaign

The real question is how did Dean manage to raise and spend $40M and have absolutely nothing to show for it?

Quote:
THE SECRET OF DEAN'S DEMISE REVEALED!: By the man himself, no less. Yesterday Howard Dean started his farewell-to-the-presidency/it's-a-new-beginning speech by saying:

"And I said when I left the governor's office that if the rest of this country were like Vermont this country would be much better off.

And what we set out to do was make the rest of the country more like Vermont."

Note to Howie: Vermont is 97% white with a socialist Congressman. That's not America, it's Sweden. No thanks.
