Default Chicago trades

So the ESPN rumor mill has the Bulls willing to part with Tyrus Thomas & Kirk Hinrich for expirings. Josh + Barea works. Would you? I haven't watched the Bulls enough to know if either player helps us. Josh could also work for Thomas + Salmons.

Tyrus is one of the dumbest players in the league.

Hinrich is nice but not really a upgrade to Josh to swap them 1:1. And to get Hinrich with Barea/Carroll/Ross wont work for both teams...

Even as the Josh Howard of the 4/5 position he's a nice piece. 6'10" player with a lot of skill (a la Howard) and when he hustles, he's one of the better players out there. I could see him playing some decent minutes at the 5 for us behind Damp. He's the same height as our current forwards (and Damp) but Gooden often plays in the mid post, and Thomas is usually a high-post-to-three-point player.

Hinrich...I dont know. He's a smart player that can produce but really isnt. Plus he's 6'3" with subpar numbers all the way around. I dont see how he's better than Terry.

If it's a small deal and we only get Hinrich, wouldn't be opposed to it. He's a smart player and VERY solid defensively.

Chicago gets JHo, JJB as a backup so they can move Hinrich, Carroll as the burden of moving Thomas, and Gooden is expiring.

Dallas gets Salmons and (Thomas and Miller) are expiring.

Not likely....

That, good sir, is incorrect. Kirk Hinrich would help us, John Salmons would, and Brad Miller definitely would...now would any of those players put the Mavs in even contention with the Lakers? No, prolly not. But would it improve our team? I believe the answer to that would be of the affirmative nature.

If all else fails I would gladly do this. IMO Hinrich can provide a lot for us and I think just like very other guy hes stuck in a bad situation and with a change of acenery his game would pick up a little. TT would be a good talented bu hard headed young center/PF and if Miller is included even better IMO
