Kind of a catch 22. You'd kind of want to insert Romo if things get out of hand because you don't want to lose a gimme game like this, but at the same thing if things get so out of hand, you don't want to risk screwing up Romo's finger in a hopeless cause.

I figured you would have him in there in case Brad got hurt or something.

I sit him out regardless. But he's active and dressed so i'm guessing they planned on playing him? If so, at what time do you put him in? Unless they thought they would handle the Rams and wanted to get Romo in garbage time.

Yea it is. I guess I should've said its getting uglier because we show no signs of stopping the Cowboys. I didn't think Brad Johnson had a chance today but if he did it was gonna be with the defense helping us out. I don't have faith in Brad Johnson to get us back in this game with his arm.

Third down is coming and with this defense its the down I fear the most. That seems like where all the big plays come.

Well on the plus side, my starting running backs today from the league I care about - S Jackson and B Jacobs - have combined for 4 TDs already. So thanks to the Cowboys defense for their part in that.

I think they expect their kicker to make that. I don't take the risk though but without Romo maybe he thinks his defense can overcome the short field. Not smart to give a team who shows no sign of life good field position.
