But how do you have time to leave a fleeing fleet, go to a planet, have adventures on said planet AND THEN CATCH the fleet before the enemy. Just stupid.

And if flying ships into objects then using hyperdrive was so stupid that it hurt. If that's the case why weren't there droid piloted kamikaze missions every other battle.

These were so bad they ruined the movie for me.
See, I don't mind the hyperdrive into the ships or space Marry Poppins Leia. They are good entertainment even if dumb. When a movie embraces dumb, then it can work out.

But The Last Jedi didn't really embrace anything. It was all over the place pacing, dialogue,, character, and plot-wise. Stop trying to be so complicated when making a f-in movie these days. I just can't believe so many producers are making 2 1/2 hour big budget movies that people aren't asking for.

That's what happens though when you have a severely polarizing producer in Kathleen Kennedy. She doesn't get Star Wars at all, and we all have to suffer for it.

Watching it again, I tried to admire that it was begging fans to move on and let Star Wars evolve. Unfortunately, it never actually does. All it does is tease us with new and different things, and then catapults away and away each and every time. OH BUT THE SLAVE ANTI-HORSE RACING KIDS GOTS DA FORCE! SEE! ANYONE CAN HAVE IT! THAT'S DIFFERENT! ugh...

It's just a mess that I'm not sure can be recovered since Solo was a huge bomb. I honestly wonder if episode 9 cracks half a billion.
