Is Bin Laden totally clueless? He's supposedly a smart guy, but does he really think he make that kind of bargain? |

He's trying to send a message that it is HE who wants peace, but the warlike countries of Europe prefer to promote war against the Muslim faith. Their rejection of this "peace" offering will be used throught the middle-east and other Muslim dominated countries to make OBL seem like a great champion of peace. Wwe aren't talking about the most intelligent people here.

I get the feeling his 'peacemaker' image would serve a pretty specific function: it's easier to bomb people that are unsuspecting or are running away than to bomb people that are attacking. |
