If I'm not mistaken, that was Ian Kinsler's 2-run homer followed by Mitch Moreland's double in the top of the 9th of Game 5 against the Rays. I knew those hits were hard, but not so hard that they knocked this fellow into the future!
Mak, I would hold off on reading about the World Series or the off-season so far.

Kinsler hit a double right after Cruz's HR in ALCS Game 6 with the same score...

If he's anything like me, he's probably just backed up a bit on his TiVo...

If you were Cliff Lee, what would you do?
It sucks, but isn't it a foregone conclusion?... Perennial contenders, no hundred degree heat, big pile of money... It's not a tough decision.

If i had to pick between which team I thought would have more success over the next 4-5 years.. I'd definitely take the Rangers over the Yankees. The piles of money will be extremely comparable. After taxes, the pile of money in Texas will probably end up being larger. Also, he'd be closer to home here in Texas.. he definitely enjoyed being a member of the team.. His wife probably doesn't have alot of interest in him playing in NY. Honestly, about the only thing New York has to throw at him is the initial dollar amount before taxes. But, that could be enough.
