Okay, at least this issue is contextualized:

"Men, don't hit women."

"Women, don't provoke violence-prone men or you might get hit."

Seems logical to me. Poke a bee's nest, get stung - it ain't right, but it's reality... Still gonna burn down that damn nest though.
