Just in case you missed it: Harris would have come to Dallas if it would have been his choice ...

Needless to say that Harris isn't the piece that would make the difference between a first round exit and a deep run ...

Thats the rumor that I heard at least but it says nothing about it being enough to get the deal done. If its Butler/Dojo/1st for their best player and a borderline allstar and Charlotte agrees, you HAVE to pull that one off. If its

I think you gotta go for it. Too many variables at play, but the one thing you know for sure is that the Mavs are very good this year and could be extremely good with one additional piece.

Butler isn't exactly young and this is an injury serious enough that could effect his play for the rest of his career

No confirmation as to why Dallas turned down Charlotte's offer of Gerald Wallace, but the two running theories are that they either wanted Roddy or they were trying to unload Diaw...
