Cowboys sign Hardy

The Cowboys announced the signing of All-Pro LB Kevin Hardy, formerly of the Jax Jaguars, to a 1 year deal. This is a huge signing for the Cowboys IMO and should bolster the Boys defensive backfield. At only 1-2 million bucks, this is a steal. Nice to see teh Cowboys stepping it up in the FA market yet again. The Boys are once again a playoff contender.

Outstanding addition for the Boys. The guy was all-world a couple of years ago but became yet another salary cap casuality. If healthy he upgrades the defense significantly.

MFFL- I agree. Isn't it amazing that the NFL has guys like Hardy that made multi-millions and then became salary cap casualties and have to "settle" for 1-2 million per year contracts. I'm glad Hardy will be wearing the Star. He will be a huge addition when we look back on it at the end of next season.

if the boys have a solid draft (very big if), i believe this will become a very, very successful off season

i've been following the hardy situation for awhile, but until a couple of weeks ago, i had no idea that he would end up here

murph - he is a steal...a friggin steal! He played banged up the last year or two and is healthy now. Total steal.

to be honest..i'm interested to see if the boys are certain about nguyen.... with a couple of younger linebackers on the blub and bringing in hardy...it's interesting

Dat is a third down type linebacker and a special teams guy. His niche will be in that kind of role.
