Default Elton Brand

The missing piece to the championship puzzle. Brand although undersized blocks 2 shots a game and in the past is a 20 point 10 rebound a game post player. The Sixers might want to dump his salary aka one of the Maverick expiring contracts Dampier or JHO.

Kidd
Ross
Marion
Dirk
Brand

Yep - that's why we're all holding our breath to see if he can perform well in a contract season...

As far as trading Josh or Damp for Brand? I'd rather use those pieces on Bosh...

Brand would be a good fit, but he can't stay healthy. Not sure I would take the chance.

past his prime, he is now slow and not a good defender, and with the Mavs probably going to be a team that runs a lot he doesn't fit in

If he was 6-11, I'd think about it. But pass, not only the history of injuries, but that contract is ugly.
