This is still pre-season for Dirk. The man hasn't played since April.

Unfortunately it's also pre-season for Collison, OJ, Kaman, VC etc.

And for RC and Cuban it's still off season.

There are some positives.
-Dirk's knee is probably gonna be okay in the long run and he will be great for another couple of years.
-We find out that Collison and OJ are second unit players, nothing more.

No play-offs this season. With this team I can't do the math to get 42-44 wins.

It is a normal process. Right now Dirk is a spot up shooter with heavy legs. There's nothing surprising about it. In 2011 it was the same (when he missed 7 games) and in 2012 (when he was not in shape early). Dirk he is the least of our problems. You gotta survive with him being "Off"...
