2009 Masters GDT
I'm pretty sure I'm not the only one interested so I am starting a thread for the Masters tourney. I am sure there are some previews available, but seeing as it has already started I will just forgo that.
Masters homepage
Right now I'm following Mize as he brings back some great memories for me.
edit: Forgot to add that you must checkout some of those Live links. Kudos to ESPN who is hosting most (if not all) of those.

I'm definitely interested. I'm at home with a sick daughter, and while I wish she didn't feel bad, I'm not complaining being at home for a Ranger afternoon game and the first day of the Masters.

Ogilvy had a rough finish, but I'm pulling for Paul Casey anyway.
Anyone playing the ESPN masters "best ball challenge"? It's pretty sweet I guess.

alby - re: your last post in your thread.... He was the reason I got interested in Golf years ago. He won the Masters when I was a little one.
I'm pulling for him to keep it up.
And Campbell is having an amazing round. 5 in a row to start off.

I was thinking stratgy after watching today play out. I think I am going to go with two power players, and then one long driver and one accurate iron guy. My though it the iron guy will prob excel at par 3s and the long driver will have more oportunities for eagle putts on par 5s

I started Casey, Ogilvy, Merrick, Perry.
Saturday my strategy is to go with Phil and Tiger along with someone else only having a 3 some (due to salary cap) but I think that is when the mental game plays into it so much and one or both of those two will rise. Since it's best ball I don't think I have to cover my bases on birdies as much as I will be looking for clutch play.

yesterday I went with Mickelson, Ames, Trahan, Donald. Today I am playing Woods, Baddeley, Campbell, Mahan.
I heard weather might get bad in the afternoon with winds kicking up.

If you are running Vista you MUST install the ESPN Masters gadget. Even if you are trying to get your documentation completed today on DHCP snooping, Dynamic ARP Inspection and IP Source Guard. It is totally sweet.

Man Larry Mize melted down. That first hole did him in for the day.

Perry is probably going to win this thing, fool! And Campbell ain't going away. Nor, for a much larger matter, is Cabrera.
I don't see any way Tiger can win, with that many strong players to pass.

Mick is going crazy! That approach on 7 was nuts. This kid is feeding on Tiger Woods at the moment.

Phil chose the wrong club on 12. That may cost him the tournament.
It's Perry's to lose.

Perry. Obviously, Masters board chose to make the course more suitable for elderly players. If so...nice move.

I hope Perry can keep the pace. I know him for so long and it would be great if he made it.
