After further thought, I think there is some truth to some of the things you are saying. And I'm going to do my best to change that, both as a moderator and as a poster.

Having said that, let's get a couple of things straight. I'm not your son, I don't have an "ilk", and calling me "big boy" is a bit too familiar.

I apologize for telling you to leave, but honestly, I don't want you to be miserable. I can't guarantee you that you're going to agree with how the board is run. There will be order here. Not based on rules I've made up or created, but based on how dj wants this board to work. Not rules to stifle people, but rules to promote quality basketball discussion.

This site is not perfect because it's run by people. But it is by far the best Mavericks message board on the Net, and there's no better place to be if you want to have an insightful discussion about the Mavericks or the NBA.

Props to KG and TwoDeep3 for their last couple posts.

You both, with a better attitude, got closer to what we need, to talk objectively for searching improvement of the site; the negative personal issues don't matter and don't serve.

Of course it wasn't enough yet, but I felt a better win-win environment.
