Dubya's oratory ability

I didn't get to see any of Bush's speeches last couple of days, but interviews with some of the European leaders made it sound like he must've done a pretty good job. That would be quite an improvement over the presidential campaign speeches.

With all the stories NPR did on Bush's poor public speaking during the campaign, it's hard to believe that my favorite news source wouldn't do a story on his improvement.

Dubya's oratory is admittedly an acquired taste, but if it pisses off the French, can it be all bad?

Ironic to me that during the week that GWB addresses the U.N., Slick Willie goes on David Letterman.

One man addresses a body of representatives from the nations of the world; the other goes on some hokey late-night talk show to fart out his geopolitical perspective--or was Willie's appearance just a special edition of Stupid Human Trix. (Letterman plunges irremediably in my esteem.)

Let the water rise (or fall) to its natural level.

I saw some of the Clinton/Letterman deal. Interestingly the local (austin) news only aired a clip in which slick wil seemed in total agreement with Bush. Austin is one schizophrenic town.

Bush has a real passion for his current role. I think that's helping him lose a lot of the bumbling bumpkin that he had in his earlier speeches
