See noone is talking about Mayo's game so i guess i will. Just like i predicted he was going to score 20. this guy is ready it's his time. unselfish, can score from anywhere on the floor, can defend, professional... lets see what he pulls off this year. Could be getting a very hefty paycheck next summer.

Looks like the new mavs actually have a lot of chemistry together. Very good start I'd say!

I thought I read it was something overseas.
But...we will have to wait about the chemistry. I saw quite a bit of barking away from the ball, most seemed to come from kaman.

West and DoJo were horrible in the 1st half. 3rd qtr was such a relief... Collison and Mayo should both play 38min.

"According to sources, Mavericks guard Delonte West has been suspended for "conduct detrimental to the team." The exact nature of West's misbehavior is unknown, but reporters at Dallas's practice yesterday spotted Dirk Nowitzki in a corner of the gym on his cell phone, screaming the words "Mom! No! Mom! No!" over and over."

I think this is a spoof/joke related to Delonte West and Lebron James' mom when Delonte was with the Cavaliers...
Supposedly Delonte was extra friendly with Lebron's mom.....

Well, it doesn't look like the situation has been resolved quickly, unless they are having dinner.
West is probably filling a little stupid for resigning with the Mavs with reduced playing time when he could have gone to the Lakers and got a bigger role on a contending team.

I think that's the main reason the Mavs brought him back so fast after news came out that the Lakers wanted him, the Lakers are already look good on paper but who know's what D-West could have gave them.
There is no need to make a conference rival even better when you don't have too...let the Lakers bring back washed up Fisher, I do think D-West might be the new Haywood of the 10-11 season pouting about playing time.

I've been trying to listen to Mavs news on the radio but I've yet to hear a host who talks about them. It's all cowboys/football all the time. Do the local sports stations not talk about the Mavs?

Heh i meant to see if anyone was taking about them today but kept forgetting.
If unless there is a Cowboys or Rangers Loss big enough to overshadow a Mavs win, regardless if its pre-season. Then yea they won't mention them that much. But the Mavs usually do get a lot of talk. Just not right now when every single sport is being talked about. Ben & Skin, and Coop & Nate will usually talk Mavs since they are closely associated.

I've known West was trouble since he fingered that dude in the ear last year. Don't care for him much, outside of him being an average basketball player.
