We just suck. Fatigue definitely looks likea factor. We just aren't executing offensively, we arent getting back defensively and we dont have the energy when it's half court.

relax they'll be fine..this team reminds me a lot of the 2002 team that was winning on the road, winning games being behind..

they'll wake up in the 2nd half

I don't know if I buy the fatigue thing. I just feel like we aren't executing for whatever reason. We just don't seem to be in sync -- at all.

Marquis Daniels is definitely a shooting guard.

Not sure why Nellie goes away from the "elbow" on offense with Dirk.

It would be historical (24 years in the making) if we kept shooting as poorly as we did in the first half. I highly doubt that we could end the game at 27.3% even if we put in M'Benga and demand that he takes shots.

More troubling than the "0" is the "5".

Again...this team, 4 games in, is 4-0.

But on the flipside, the leading assist man is Devin Harris at....

Drumrolll please...

3.3

NOBODY on this team looks for the extra pass, with the exception of

Dirk

when he is touching the ball with regularity. And even he, starts to force shots when he goes 6+ minutes without touching the ball.

Everyone else on the main rotation: Terry, Stack, Howard, Damp, Danels, Howard and Fin

is thinking "I need to shoot" as soon as they touch the ball.

It is so obvious, and so destructive.

Yes, 4-0 is great, but personally the last 15 quarters have troubled me.

We need to learn the art of the pass.

Key is to get Dirk out of the blocks quickly here. Maybe it's time to put in Dickau for an outside threat and Booth to block some of those layups...can Pavel come in...just joking...this one worries me and I feel an L coming due to the late arrival and early start...tough combination...

If Dirk doesnt get into this game our first L will come from a Leastern Conference team. I'm not mad at Marquis cuz he is supposed to be our second go to guy. Dirk needs to get in it.

Finley is now injured.....great.

If we are going to lose, play Booth, Benga and Bradley- guys that still have energy. When you are tired, your stabilizers arent there and ankles are sprained more easily.

edit he's back on the floor.

Dirk looks God awful...but, when you add in Harris, Stack, and Fin into the equation...it makes for a long night.

Dirk....are you going to nut up or are you going to call it a night?

Well, this could be a nasty start to this road trip. I really hoped we could compete and now Findog hits the deck, that will probably take Finley three weeks to get over. Dirk, come on, we need you, very badly now.
