I dunno...sounds like he might be happy to have someone to feed, clothe, and shelter him for the rest of his life. Probably a good gig, the way he looks at it. Beats stealing for your meals, anyway.

Perhaps one day the constant threat of physical/sexual abuse from fellow inmates/guards will change his perspective on life.
