Hopefully this is an UGLY low scoring game..with OU barely pulling it out.
Split MNC please.

I can guarantee that there will be no chance of a split national championship.
Even if they did.... the only one anyone would remember would be the BCS Champion. Think USC.

What an embarrassing way to go out for Oklahoma. That last possession was laughable.

Should have given Texas a chance, stupid BCS. Would have done much better than this pitiful performance from OU. Bob Stoops liking to shoot up the scores of games spelled their demise - should have gone for field goals in the red zone on those two drives. Sam Bradford tonight pretty much removed all doubt in my mind that Colt McCoy is the best QB in the Big 12. Oklahoma choked and completely folded, and there's no excuse.

This would have been a better game if the best Big XII team had been up against Florida.
Of course, I'm talking about the Texas A&M Aggies.

This would have been a better game had there not been a whole effing month between the last games and this one.
As someone who hates Florida (and FSU...because I used to live in Jacksonville and those fans are way too obnoxious) and I hate Oklahoma, and I hate UT (because you people are all obnoxious as well ), I say to you as an impartial observer that I think Florida's defense would have played that well (in what was essentially a home game for them) against Texas too.

I have no idea if Texas beats Florida, but they have a much better big game history in recent years than OU and Big Game Bob.

Texas is really clutch, I'm pretty sure they wouldn't have shit all over themselves like OU did tonight. Regardless of the Texas/Florida/OU debate ... I think USC and Utah (while I personally don't think so) also have legitimate complaints and something should be done.

I'm pretty sure Florida would have beaten any team they played tonight, being the best team in college football and all.

So...both Texas and Florida beat OU by double digits on a neutral site? Wow, sure seems like alot got decided by this whole BCS thing.

So which conference is the best? I know I heard a lot of talk (not necessarily here) about the BIG12 this year. Anyone here think that?

Desperatly needs a playoff system..perhaps 32 teams with some bi's and such...
The one thing college does right is the O.T. each teams gets a posession. The pros have a fricken coin flip...?

While I hate USC, I think Florida would have to play them, as well as Texas and Utah, to really determine who the best is. People said Oklahoma's defense did well against Florida, it was their offense that faltered. Imagine what a USC type defense could produce, or a Texas offense that would be 50x better than what we saw of OU last night, especially with Colt McCoy - who shattered the record for completion %.
1) Florida
2) Utah
3) USC
4) Texas
5) Oklahoma
While I'm not sure how good Utah is, since they are the only undefeated team it's really shameful that they don't even have a chance to prove themselves. Alabama did something for them, at least. Also, voters undermined Texas' win against OSU and embraced USC's win against Penn State. The difference between those games was that Penn state had a "Choke-lahoma" like performance till the 4th when it was too late, and OSU actually showed up the entire game.

NCAA Div 1A (FBS) All-Time Best Completion Percentage (Season)--
1) Colt McCoy TEX, 76.6% (2008)
2) Daunte Culpepper, UCF, 73.6% (1998)
3) Chase Daniel, MIZ, 72.9% (2008)
4) Steve Young, BYU, 71.5% (1983)
Colt not only holds the record, but he holds it by a whopping 3%.

Blake Gideon is the one who dropped the potential interception - but there were a lot of other key plays that could have sealed the deal. That one was just at the critical moment. But that is just one play, and overall what he has done has been beneficial to our team, especially since he is an underclassman and is developing.
