PGT: Mavs turn a blowout into a nail-biter, get through 2OT to beat Denver
Anyone who thought they'd be saying "FELTON FOR THE WIN" this season is a damn liar.

I've been saying this for a while, but the Mavs somehow make mediocre players look like all-stars. Seriously, Galinari for 47 points is embarrassing.

With all the injuries we've had this year the possibility of 50 wins is remarkable
Fun double OT

Gallo was a beast before his knee injuries, I mean 47 is obviously way too much but it's not like he's a scrub.

He isn't a scrub, but not an All-Star either.

Tim MacMahon
@espn_macmahon
Final (2OT): Mavs 144, Nuggets 143. All the Mavs were on their feet for the finish except for one. Wanna guess who?
+++++
I looked several times and I couldn't see him clearly - I thought it was Ellis

It's quite evident Monta is doing his own thing on the sideline as the team celebrates and as the team goes into the huddle in double overtime.

Yeah I noticed Monta was just laying down chillin on the baseline when the Mavs won and everyone else jumped up and celebrated. I'm sure he wanted to play in that double OT but Rick wouldn't let him. I guess that shows how much he loves to be out there but seriously, he needs to lighten up.

Well, he did score 40 against Orlando recently. I guess that puts the Mavs on par with one of the biggest punching bags in the league for small forwards.

If he's pouting because Rick pulled the starters I can live with that. If it's something else then I definitely don't want his moody ass here next year.

It's better for at least one main player not to celebrate. Keep the game face going.

MacMahon likes to rile folks up--sometimes to an irritating extent--but he's a good journalist. I wouldn't want to ship him out (although I'd like to see my guy BG working with him side-by-side).

No reason to hate on McMahon tonight. Monta was openly pouting when the rest of his team was celebrating. Maybe it's not a big thing, but it's not a good thing.

The general hate with MacMahon seems relatively petty, in my opinion.

I've never got the hate on here for him. He's a solid journalist that likes to push the envelope on twitter and asks the tough questions to carlisle. Which I always find amusing

Funnest game of the season. I had previously liked the game where we put up 140 in regulation on Kobe or maybe even the double OT win in Chicago, but this easily surpasses them. Maybe the fact that there was nothing on the line added to it, but nobody on this planet could have written the script.
Someone commented near the end of the game: "Well, I hope everyone sees Rondo's effect on the game. Yeah, you score more points without Rondo, but you also give up way more points." Thought it was an interesting point.
Also, eff Gallinari's numbers. The most embarrassing stat is the 27 offensive rebounds we gave up. I've literally never seen anything like it. During the comeback, they got 2 possessions every single time down the floor and every 50-50 ball went their way.

jthjig...RE: Pouting...........Maybe so; maybe not. Note the roll of towels beside him in the photo. Why wouldn't it be just as accurate to speculate (from this single visual) that he was on the baseline, away from the bench, stretching out his back or his hamstring or calf?

Oh look i see a player who prefers to stretch after a LONG night playing 37min instead of being guy nr. 15 around the huddle at the end of a meaningless game...what a moody ass!
Well done MacMahon! With his Rondo bad fit/issues blabla articles he tried to point out and interprete every little thing in a negative way and now with his "Monta moody stuff" the same. And this now is a perfect example.
This is BAD journalism.
