@ramonashelburne: As for the Clips. DeAndre has concerns about roster. Doesn't know if it will age well. Worries what happens with only 2 years left of Blake.

Acceptance.

Parsons/Matthews/Harris/Felton/him/1 more year of Dirk

The other 9 players? Well, we are a work in progress

(We're just running out of tools)

So I guess it's DAJ or Hibbert.

Speaking of Hibbert, I'd assume the Clippers might want him if they lose Jordan. Would three way S&T Ellis to Indy, Hibby to Clips, DAJ to Dallas work? Wouldn't that leave us with something like 9 million in cap space to work with? Or are my numbers way off?

D.Lord had some thoughts on that earlier today...

Quote:
LAC will need a center, but will have no cap room. So a 3-way deal sends Jordan to Dallas, Ellis and Felton to Indy, and Hibbert to LAC.

And if LMA chooses Phoenix, then we could almost def get Markief Morris for Tyson...AND still have cap space for a pg. That would be a huge turnaround.

Earlier today: @David Baumann: Source: Mavs are “optimistic” they lured DeAndre from LAC after meetings today. Prior to FA, DJ texted @RyanTotka “really considering it.”

Ryan Totka runs Athlete Promotions, an agency that books sports celebrity appearances, with a focus on brand-building... Both Mark Cuban and Dez Bryant are his clients, among others. One of his biggest branding marks on the industry? Dez Bryant's ThrowUpTheX, which Jordan is imitating in this picture.

That and Twitter and I will sleep happy, or would if I wasn't so excited.

Following Matthews is huge, though. I like that. Matthews followed Jordan a while ago. Gotta dig that. Matthews follows Jordan, Jordan follows attires the day before he announces his team

@espn_macmahon: Lot of people asking me about timetable for DeAndre Jordan decision. He has set no deadline but expected today or tomorrow.

You have to think that both Parsons and Matthews are in Deandre's ears right now. Aren't they all really close friends?

this right here interesting:

Kevin Pelton ‏@kpelton 18 Min.Vor 18 Minuten

As I look at it, I'm probably understating the possibility of Dallas swapping Ellis for Hibbert and Hibbert for Jordan if Jordan picks them.

Kevin Pelton ‏@kpelton 18 Min.Vor 18 Minuten

I don't see why that wouldn't work cap-wise and it would give the Mavericks about $8-10 million to find a starting PG/add depth.

Mavs need to jump on NENE if DJ chooses LA. His team is trying to dump him right now.

The only issue with this is he really hates playing center. I like the idea of koufos, he's pretty young and a awesome defender (Memphis I believe was better with him on defense than gasol)

I was very confident two days ago. I'm still confident, but can't stand the waiting.
