Default Mavs Fans, Unite!

Tired of the political bickering? Tired of reading "Kidd is teh suxors" and "Devin rulez"?

Let's all band together and trash this guy!

And to a slightly lesser extent, this guy!

Article #1 = Dirk is a top-ten power forward, but he sucks...

Article #2 = Dirk one of the top international players, but he sucks...

Dirk is the one consistent bright spot on the Mavericks, but he's never going to escape the hate. I don't understand why ANYONE in their right mind would bash him though... we have far easier targets these days.

I'll be a son-of-a-bit@#!

It is amazing to me that that silly bastard ever learned how to type. I guess we should probably go look for him though. He has to be tied up in Ron Artest's basement if he's going to put HIM one spot above Dirk on that blasted list.

Obviously, I don't agree with article #2, but #1 is by far more absurd.

How the hell can two individuals think Pau Gasol is better than Dirk Nowitzki.

Dirk is a top 2-3 power forward, and the best international player in the game.

Screw those rankings.

I agree. I just wanted to add more fuel to the fire.

Although, Pau Gasol ahead of Dirk in any kind of ranking other than "ugliest players in the NBA" is patently absurd.

That's the thing about lists like this. At a certain point they become so ridiculous that they don't even raise my ire. I'd be more upset if they put Dirk at 3rd on the international list behind Yao and Ginobilli. Slotting him behind Pau invalidates the ranking as far as I'm concerned.

What I don't understand is how Dirk can be so underrated. One obvious thing is he has an MVP, and it's not like that season was a fluke... he consistently puts up those kinds of numbers.

"By all means, Dirk should really be number one on this list. However, despite being the best player in the history of the Dallas Mavericks, Dallas is one of the most inconsistent teams in the NBA."

BUT YOU PUT YAO #1?! The Rockets are consistent? At what, losing in the first round?

BUT YOU PUT YAO #1?! The Rockets are consistent? At what, losing in the first round?
if he's going by that then it should be Manu, Dirk, Pau, Yao but that would be stupid as well.

we all know the rockets aren't consistent.. that's his biggest mistake, but the lakers?? Dallas and LA have the same amount of finals appearances in the last four+ years and Dallas has made it past the first round a lot more times. And it's not like Pau's Memphis teams were ever consistent....

The Rockets aren't inconsistent.

Out of the first round, year after year.

At this point of Dirk's career I think he is underrated, people keep trying to say that even though he can give you 20+ points, 9 rebounds, 3 assists and a block per game that he is soft and that he is a choker. They have been underrating Dirk since the 2006 finals, at first stuff like this used to get under my skin but now Im used to it. We're gunna Kick some tail this year...

Meh. The more people doubt us, the easier it will be to prove them wrong.

I'm a Rockets fan and even I can admit putting Pau Gasol ahead of Dirk on any list(except ugliest bastard alive) is doltish.
