Where's the Avery Talk...end of the world Mavs talk?
I just went to another Mavs related post and then decided to see what else was on here...not talk of Avery, no talk of the Mavs???
It's as if there are TOOOOO many categories on this board. What's the deal with so many categories? Seems like it would be easy to have the following format:
Imagine that...only 4 categories...all threads would be easy to find, easy to read, easy to respond too... A board that would be Easy... Kudos to the folks that have worked so hard to put this together, I mean that sincerely...but dang, let's not make this so complicated...let go of the Control Freak aspect...this is just a place for fans to kick back and shoot the breeze...even vent if need be. By the way...never mind |

That's the absolutey worst idea anyone has ever had in the history of ideas.
 Seriously, the forums are pretty self-explanatory. There's no need to clutter the Mavs and Lounge sections by eliminating the Trade and Political forums. And you managed to sift through your confusion and post this thread in the appropriate place...soooooo....thank you for your courage.

That's a fantastic idea Dad. I've got some ideas for what we could name the 4 sub-forums:
The first one you mention, for Mavs talk, could be "General Mavs Discussion." The second one, for NBA talk...hmm...how about "Around the NBA"? Then we could go with "Non-NBA Talk" for the 3rd, but that seems a bit too general, so how about "Other Sports Talk"? Then for the last one you've suggested, general discussion, we could call it something cute, like maybe "The Hangout," or, better yet, "The Lounge." Someone tell djbacklash to implement these changes right away.
