Default Steve Nash, Chris Paul, Baron Davis.........

Those are the only point guards that I would give up the players from the proposed Jason Kidd trade for.

Im even kinda iffy on Baron Davis because of his health problems.

I think Kidd is one of the more overated players in the game.

I would include Williams there too

I wouldn't for Steve Nash. He is almost as old and a much worse defender than Kidd.

But he does anything else Kidd can do better than Kidd can do...

If we were bringing Kidd in as a pass-first PG, then you'd have to take Nash in a heartbeat...

But Nash isn't available, so this conversation doesn't really need to go any farther...

I wouldn't. Very Good player, but he is nowhere as quick as the other three.

I still think Nash has three or four great years left.

Agreed - Nash has about the same time left in him as Dirk does in his prime (assuming Nash's back doesn't give out on him...)

You would seriously take Baron Davis over Deron Williams?? The 4th year pro, 20ppg, 10 assists, easily 2nd best PG in the league Deron Williams??? /thread

Id have done Chris Paul, then D Will, then Steve Nash, then Jason Kidd. Now I would have taken that Kidd for Davis+Kaman trade in a heartbeat. I still think the Mavs FO are retarded for turning that down.
