Sac-Dallas-NO: Mavs get Martin

The Kings want a young big back and want out of Nocioni's contract, the Hornets want some cap space, the Mavs want Martin.

Mavs Receive:
-Kevin Martin
-Nocioni

Kings Receive:
-Okafor, 27 years old
-Drew Gooden

Hornets Receive:
-Josh Howard
-Rights to Calathes
- 1-3M Cash


WHY:
-Mavs get the SG they want without having to part with Damp or Roddy. This also gives us an additional piece in Martin to chase after a superstar this off-season if it came down to that. A Damp / Martin / Robo package would be a super package to work with for a superstar.

-Sac gets a quality young big man, sheds Nocioni's contract, and most likely buy out Gooden (back to Dallas) to save even more money.

-NO gets a serviceable SF for the year and cap space, plus a prospect in Calathes and cash to help cover part of what Howard is owed for the remainder of this season.
