Default Portland did it right.

Finally rebuilding as the ship looks to be sinking. Batum has a ton of potential and has always played better the more minutes he played. Get the nets pick top 3 protected, fire a coach who doesn't play young players.

Good moves for them but imagine if they'd done it all sooner.

yep and the crawford deal was stupid. Nate shouldn't have been allowed to coach the trailblazers this year, Elliot Williams is going to blow up when he gets healthy i think.

Yea, once Roy and Oden were done, it should have been rebuild time, not patch up the sinking ship. I don't know if you fire a coach because 2 of his top 3 are out for the season. Then again him not playing the younger players, using their energy to pump life back into the team was a huge mistake, I mean they added some draft picks last year, but none has really made a name for themselves yet.

just think if oden and roy lived up to the hype and didnt get injured, teamed up with aldridge, they would've been a dynasty!!

I dunno that draft pick is going to be money. Can't believe the Nets gave that up.

WOW but just think back to how damm UNLUCKY the BLAZERS are....just in the last few years. IMAGINE if Roy and Oden didnt end their careers to injuries and pairing them with Aldridge. That team would have been BEASTLY for a decade.

Oden was a mistake from the start. Even with out the injuries he would have never lived up to being the first player taken. Unless you are a freak like Howard the old style power centers are dinosours. They are just too slow for todays game.
