Stuff like daily news headlines, stats, standings, and box scores will be on the site at launch..but what else do you all want to see? Please let me know asap so I can try to work it into the initial layout design.
Also, I'm now accepting article/editorial submissions. ANYONE can submit editorials. On the other hand, if you're interested in becoming a featured columnist, just send me a note with some writing samples. Thx |

There will be individual player stats and generic stuff like birthdate, college, etc. Unfortunately, I don't have bios for them. If someons would like to write them, that would be awesome [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]

If you can write bios for all the players, that would be AWESOME! However, since this will make up a big portion of the players section, please send me any writing samples you've done in the past OR send me a sample bio. I don't want to offend or piss anyone off, but I want to make sure the stuff that goes in this section is top notch (in other words, something that would make NBA.com proud!). If for some reason I decide not to accept your bios, you're more then welcome to write up a player spotlight (or something along those lines) for the Features/Editorials area. No matter what your skill level, there WILL be a place for your work on the site! |

I'd like to see a separate "Fantasy Sports" forum. While there's not a ton of people here right now(though there seems to be several already) that play fantasy sports, as the site grows, more and more fantasy sports fans will come.

Ugh that's actually the one that probably won't be on the site. Unless someone here can create a java applet that automatically captures the scores.. I checked out a bunch of freebie sports tickers and stuff, and for the most part they all sucked.

More pages in the different forums. Can you do that?
Right now there's only 20 threads per page. I think it would be better if there were like 30 or 40 threads per page(like fanhome). Threads from yesterday are already on the second page. |

Right now there are 20 threads per page, and 30msgs per page in each thread. I like having things looking as uncluttered as possible. But I'll definitely look into expanding it though.

I'll add that to the list of possible updates.. Try the "Search" tool if you're having trouble thinking of a user's name. You could probabl try doing a partial keyword search or something.

dj - a couple of things I would like to see.
Please move the "logout" away from the pull-down for the categories. I go to the categories often and I've hit logout half a dozen times accidentally. Just move "logout" on the other side of the "customize" please. The category pull-down vanishes when I check my pm's or go to "profile" or "today". I think it would be handy to have it at all times. That way I can continue to go through the site without hitting the "back" button. Overall the site is great. |
