Default Warriors Bucks trade

Bucks get:
Monta Ellis
Epke Udoh
Kwame Brown

Warriors get:
Stephen Jackson
Andrew Bogut

I personally think warriors got fleeced

Agree. Bogut is alright but he's so injury prone. Jackson is dead weight.

Ellis is a good asset and Udoh has potential.

Do the bucks plan to keep Jennings? Jennings is 6'1" Ellis 6'3" And you would think there would be similar issues like what the warriors experienced with Curry and Ellis.

Id say wait at least a year to say weather Milwaukee is getting fleeced, considering Boguts injury/s it could well be the warriors when all is said and done.

I always felt Ellis and Bogut were good players, but should stay on the same respective teams. Bogut is synonymous with the Bucks as Ellis is with the Warriors.

I love Bogut, but man that Jackson contract is awful. To get Ellis and Udoh is pretty damn nice value considering Bogut hasn't been able to stay on the court the past couple of seasons and again, that darn Jackson contract.

I think this trade has major potential for the Warriors, but that's contingent with Bogut staying healthy.

Short term Jennings and Ellis is gonna be one hell of an offensive back court.

Don't get it Bogut is great but he misses more games than he plays. Jackson has a huge contract, but isn't a big contributor.

Ellis is really good, Udoh has some value and Brown is an expiring contract. Why are the Warriors considering this trade?

Bogus is a LOT better than "alright", when he plays.

If he's healthy for them then it's a good deal for the Warriors. Ellis is so overrated.

And that is why no one really won this trade IMO. One is vastly overrated by playing in an up and down system all his life. Shots were abunddant, could do whatever he wanted. Play no defense, etc. etc. And the orther one plays about 40 games a year because he can't stay on the court.

This. lolz @ "alright". Bogut is a top 5 center when healthy.

Unfortunately, the guy is almost always injured.

I'm friends with a lot of Warriors fans (unfortunately lol), only 1 out of like 10 are in favor of this trade, and pretty much all of them are heartbroken to see Ellis go. I think it's a solid trade for them. They needed to pick between Curry/Ellis, and badly needed a defensive center. Also, if they can tank some more this season (with Bogut and Curry missing time, it's very possible) they will get their top 7 protected lottery pick back from the Jazz.

I don't like Ellis one bit. Low efficiency scorer just like Kobe, Iverson sort of.

Yeah, he's pretty good/alright/solid. He's just always injured.

Big risk if you also have Stephen Curry.

Very Yao/Tracy.

This trade was in anticipation of Jennings leaving. I don't see how either team got better. Bogut is always injured but when he isn't he is good. But his new running mate is also always injured, Ellis. Bucks get a scorer in Ellis, but the team is a defense first which isn't his forte. Epke Udoh is Luc Mbah a Moute.

GSW was still basking in the glow of Nellie ball. That back court if Ellis played the 2 usually lost the game defensively. If the Lakers needed points, Kobe would go low block every time. I think on a consistent winner, Ellis plays the role of Terry, so you need that big guard to go alongside Ellis to compete. I think this is the first step of many to mold the Warriors into Mark Jackson's type of team, Bogut is a top defender in this league, he moves well, solid base, blocks shots. GSW is trying to move Jackson, thus no official announcement yet. As for Milwaukee, small backcourrt, it'll drive skiles crazy defensively. It's a move for now, take advantage of a Knick slide.

Udoh is a lot better than Moute, he is a terror on defensive end, needs to work on his rebounding tho.

They're completely different players... Mbah a Moute is more of a perimeter defender that is capable of guarding smaller 4s in the post (and excels in man defense), while Udoh is more of a PF/C hybrid who isn't as much of a post defender as he is a shot blocker and help defender.
