recruting! how's your team doing?
Auburn is off to a great start. these are our guys:
QB Neil Caudle **** Hoover, AL (COACH's SON) DT Zach Clayton ** Opelika, AL DT Kareem Crowell **** Tallahassee, FL DT Bart Eddins **** Montgomery, AL (COACH's SON) QB/ATH Steven Ensminger ** West Monroe, LA CB Zaccheus Etheridge *** Troy, AL RB Mario Fannin **** Lovejoy, GA (soft) LB Hendrick Leverette *** Hattiesburg, MS WR Alex Rose *** Jacksonville, FL WR Chris Slaughter **** Fort Valley, GA DT Greg Smith **** Booneville, MS (JUCO) RB Benjamin Tate **** Newark, MD WR Terrell Zachery **** Wadley, AL hopefully Aaron Brown will commit to us today, but I don't think it's likely. Tim Hawthorne, come on down! we're really set at WR for awhile now...since Obomanu, Aromushodu, Mix and possibly Taylor are all leaving, it's necessary. we're also still in the running for Cordera Eason, which would help start up another running back stable on the Plains. we need more OL!

Why post your list on this site? Dont you know many of these posters are Texas fans?? This Auburn class isnt going to look all that once some UT fan lists their team's commits. The Longhorns are dominating in recuiting right now.

Texas always has incredible recruiting classes. if you are the dominant school in either texas, california, or florida you will always have an incredible recruiting base. I know people who were backups in texas high schools and went on to be all state elsewhere. High school football is better down here than probably any other state and definitely better than any state other than florida or california.

most of out talent has left for Florida, actually. Alabama used to be one of the top states in the country for high school football, but with our education system and funding issues as they are, the big time players all migrate elsewhere.
