Lunch Box Thread
I'm in the mood to originate threads today. And I'm trying extra hard to create threads that won't have FFM and DrBio at each others' throats.
With most schools beginning or about to begin this week - I'm thinking back to the good ol' days when Xerxes was but a mere lad - and the single most important summer purchase...the new lunch box.
You wanted something that was cool, that woud state your allegiance, and say alot about who you were.
My all-time favorite? a real cool red Empire Strikes Back box with Luke & Yoda...
Your favorite?

I don't remember what I had either, although I'm sure I had one. I did the boring brown bag thing a lot.

You must have had an extremely traumatic childhood, U2!

RE: Lunch Box Thread
I can't remember what lunch box I had either. I had to ask my mom about this and she says it was Wonder Woman. hehe
The thermos was what made the deal. The lunch box had to be metal, not that plastic shit they use now.

i seriously hope you aren't going to be crushed when your son doesn't want to use this lunch box.
i had a red peanuts lunch box -plastic ,with the picture scratched half off- for years. and i wished for something pretty. at the children's home, my mom would pack several lunch boxes, and i would occasionally swipe the totally awesome, totally metal, 101 Dalmations lunch box. Yep. The metal box with the real thermos. The kind that if you dropped it the glass inside broke. I'm amazed they made those.

RE: Lunch Box Thread
The more I think about this I would have thought I had the Bionic Woman or Million Dollar Man, or Scooby Doo lunch box.
I think my mom is confused. I use to have those Wonder Woman underoos.

Lunch Box Thread
I've not had one in use for awhile...but
this was my last functional lunch box...
I think it's currently filled with chunky plastic jewellery and various other
accessories...and I know i'll have a ball when I find it....
